Sport Law & Strategy Group to Host Event Risk Management Webinar on November 25, 2015
November 24, 2015 – Toronto - The Sport Law & Strategy Group (SL&SG) is hosting its next webinar this Wednesday, titled Risk Management Auditing for Sport Events, to assist sport organizations in event risk management. The webinar will highlight risk management principles that can be applied to the optimal hosting of sport events as well as a risk management framework to support successful execution. Jason Robinson, an Associate with the Sport Law & Strategy Group, will share his recent industry success and provide event hosts with relevant tips to elevate their standard of care.
By way of background, Jason has served as an Operations Manager and Tournament Director for professional and amateur sport events, experiencing and learning from the many triumphs and pitfalls. These lessons will be shared during the webinar, providing participants with the knowledge they need to apply a systematic risk management process to the hosting of their events.
The SL&SG launched the “Advancing your Game Webinar Series” earlier this year with topics including the Not-For Profit Corporations Act, Sponsorship, Human Resources, and Positive Change Management. Future webinars will feature relevant sport management topics, highlighted by a “What to Watch in 2016” webinar in January 2016.
