Youth Sport Expo Ottawa 2017
Event Date: mar. 11, 2017 - mar. 12, 2017
9:00am
OTTAWA, ON – Show producers and founders, Lisa Strangway and Erin Patchell of The Expo Station Inc. are happy to announce the creation of a new two-day event coming to Canada’s National Capital. The Youth Sport Expo is scheduled for March 11 from 9:00am – 6:00 pm and March 12 from 10:00am – 5:00 pm at the Ernst & Young (EY) Centre in Ottawa.
Youth Sport Expo is gearing up to be the biggest youth-focused sports & health event in Canada. Attendees can expect to see over 50 exhibitors, learn from thought leaders and key experts presenting on the main stage, take part in an interactive area, get autographs from high profile athletes, and view demonstrations from a variety of sporting organizations.
“Ottawa has an incredible number of sport opportunities for youth. Our goal is to create a one-stop-shop where parents can get educated and help them make decisions that will benefit their children and their families. We plan to showcase as many different sports as we can and have experts available to answer questions and provide valuable information. We also plan to make it fun for the kids by providing interactive activities and high profile athletes available for autographs.” – Lisa Strangway, Co-Founder, Youth Sport Expo
A show of this size would not be possible without the support of some key partners. Majic 100, TSN 1200 and CTV Ottawa have come on board as official media partners. As well, confirmed to participate are the Ottawa Senators, Ottawa RedBlacks, Ottawa 67’s, Ottawa Fury FC, Ottawa Champions and Ottawa Gee-Gees with more teams and organizations being confirmed everyday.
“Encouraging the younger generation to become involved with sports and activities, especially in our home town here in Ottawa, is something that we at OSEG are all very passionate about. Youth Sport Expo is bringing like-minded individuals together in order to promote that cause – and we’re happy to support them in doing so.” – Jeff Hunt, President, OSEG Sports
