Celebrate International Women’s Day with the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Women and Sport and Physical Activity (CAAWS)!

This CAAWS event is on March 10th, 2016 in Ottawa.  The full day event will feature CAAWS’ two new Women and Leadership Workshops, as well as a luncheon speaker.

Effective Networking – Now Available!
Strong networking skills can be a valuable tool, both personally and professionally. From building organizational partnerships to knowing about upcoming events, building your network is a long-term investment with great payoffs.

Explore the value of networking

Discuss in-person and online networks

Identify strategies to build and maintain your network

Life Balance – Now Available!
For many women, balancing the demands of work, family, friends, and personal time is a challenge. This workshop will provide participants with an opportunity to explore a variety of strategies to add more balance to their lives.

Examine your priorities and what “balance” means to you

Explore key dimensions that can help or hinder life balance

Learn strategies and collect tips to help you experience balance

Cost:                      $40.00 per person, includes two workshops and luncheon

Agenda:                 8:30am – Registration

                              9:00am-12:00pm – Effective Networking workshop

                              12:00pm-1:30pm – Lunch and guest speaker

                              1:30pm-4:30pm – Life Balance workshop  

Speaker:             Our speaker will be an athlete/leader in the sport community, to be announced soon!

The CAAWS Women and Leadership workshops are eligible for NCCP PD points!
