 This workshop will:

  • Highlight the importance of aerobic fitness for athletes &/or individuals
  • Highlight the need for objective prescription over subjective prescription
  • Investigate which fitness tests are most suitable and why
  • Look at the 9 variables which can be manipulated to facilitate HIIT prescription.

Nathan Heaney

Nathan is currently a full time S&C coach for Hockey, Track & Field and individual athletes with the Victorian Institute of sport.

Previously he has held positions with Women’s Hockey, Track & Field, Netball & Triathlon.

He holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science, an ASCA Level 2 accreditation and is an Intern Professional Coach with the ASCA’s Professional Coaches Scheme.
