Powerlifting Athlete Suspended for the Presence of Cannabis

Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) - (Ottawa, Ontario – December 16, 2019) – The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) announced today that Terrence Mendes, a powerlifting athlete, received a two-month sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected during in-competition doping control on September 14, 2019, revealed the presence of cannabis.
