Celebrating the Year of Sport with the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games!

Starting July 10-26 through to August 7-15, Toronto and its surrounding communities will be the proud hosts of the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games. It's the world’s 3rd largest international multi-sport Games with over 10,000 athletes, 20,000 volunteers and 41 nations participating from the America's and the Caribbean and is just one of a series of exciting events happening during the Year of Sport in Canada.
What makes these Games so special?
Environmentally Friendly - The 2015 Games will become the first completely ecologically friendly games because it will be fully carbon neutral.
The Debut of New Sports – The Pan Am Games will now include: Women's Baseball, Canoe/Kayak Slalom and Women's Sprint, Golf, Women's Rugby Sevens and Men's Softball.
The Parapan Am Games will showcase: Men's 7-a-Side Football, Women's Sitting Volleyball and Mixed Wheelchair Rugby.
Diversity – The Games are aiming to reflect and impact the different communities in Toronto by forming partnerships and programs that promote the theme and legacy of diversity
