The Leisure & Recreation Research Unit of Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) organizes A Panel on Olympic Legacy, 8-11 May 2017, Athens, Greece as part of the 2nd Annual International Symposium on Leisure & Recreation sponsored by the Athens Journal of Sports.
The panel’s aim is to explore different perspectives on what the concept of ‘Olympic Legacy’ looks like from various parts of the World. It is anticipated that researchers exploring phenomenon from recent Olympic and Paralympic Games (both Summer and Winter) will contribute to the Conference. The Call for papers actively seeks out research across all academic fields including, social, economic, and sporting contexts as well as the views of the athletes and beneficiaries of the legacies.
