Ontario Soccer - How to watch all the OPDL Charity Shield matches at the Ontario Soccer Centre

Ontario Soccer's Ontario Player Development League (OPDL), presented by Toronto FC, will officially wrap up its sixth season this weekend, as the OPDL Charity Shield match-ups take place at the Ontario Soccer Centre.

The top teams from the boys and girls U-14, U-15 and U-17 divisions will compete in one game finals.

As well as a great opportunity for scouts to see Ontario's talent up close, the OPDL Charity Shield also raises money for charity. Every dollar accumulated through admission is donated to Ontario charities, as selected by the winning teams in each match.

Masters and London to meet in League1 Ontario Championship final this Friday

Masters FC will play FC London for the 2019 League1 Ontario Men's Championship final this Friday at the Ontario Soccer Centre.

FC London advanced by defeating Alliance United FC 10-0 over two legs. Masters FA had a much closer semi-final match up with Oakville Blue Devils, edging them 2-2, advancing on the away goals tiebreaker.

Toronto FC trail heading into the second leg of 2019 Canadian Championship

The Montreal Impact defeated Toronto FC 1-0 in the opening leg of the 2019 Canadian Championship Final.

The 2019 Canadian Championship Final continues Sept. 25 at BMO Field in Toronto and will be streamed live on OneSoccer.ca at 7:30 pm.

Ontario teams return with Gold and Silver medal from Masters Club Championships

The Masters Regional Club Championships wrapped up last weekend as Ontario's representatives faced off against other provinces in the Over-35 competition.

This year, Ontario was represented by two teams from the same club. Scarborough GS United won medals in both the Men's and Women's Ontario Masters Championships.

Just 10 days left to register for Provincial Indoor Soccer League

The Provincial Indoor Soccer League (PISL) is one of the most competitive and prestigious indoor soccer leagues in the province.

The PISL offers 11-a-side indoor soccer for U13 to U18 divisions for both girls and boys at clubs and academies. The main hub of the league is the Ontario Soccer Centre but games will also be played at three other facilities across Southern Ontario, giving the league a wide area to draw top-level competition from.

HUB International Presents: Session Prep - Small Sided Game

HUB International and Ontario Soccer are proud to present a series of Coaching Development videos targeted at helping coaches of all levels.

The HUB International Session Prep series focuses on different topics relevant to educating today's coaches further.

This week's video focuses on how to properly set-up a small sided 6v6 game. The field for this practice can be up to 50 yards long and 44 yards in width.

Update on the Canada Soccer Club Licensing program

Ontario Soccer received an overwhelming response from clubs and academies to enter the Canada Soccer Club Licensing Program in 2019. The final review will continue until Sept. 30, at which time the announcement of successful organizations will be made.

The new window of application to "Provincial Level 2," "Provincial Level 1" and Quality Soccer Provider for the 2020 cycle will open on Sept. 15.

Ontario Cup 2019 has come to a close with the final six division winners decided

The 104th edition of the Ontario Cup has come to a close as the final six divisions wrapped up recently at the Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan.

There was still one Toyota National Championship berth to be spoken for on the final weekend and five more Ontario Cup titles have now been decided.

The Ontario Cup is the largest club competition of its kind in Canada with over 12,000 athletes and 600 teams annually.

Five Ontario teams qualify for the Toyota National Championships

The Ontario Cup Finals came to a conclusion for six divisions on Sept. 7 and 8 at Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan.

The winners of five of those divisions will now move on as Ontario's representative at the Toyota National Championships.

With over 600 teams and 12,000 athletes, the Soccer For Life Provincial Championship is the largest competition of its kind in Canada.

Ontario Soccer releases 2019-2021 Strategic Plan

Ontario Soccer is pleased to announce its, Board of Directors approved, new Strategic Plan for 2019-2021, which will serve as a road map for soccer in the province over the next three years.

The Strategic Plan will focus on four key areas of the sport and within those areas, each have three Strategic Initiatives where Ontario Soccer will look at tackling opportunities on and off the field.
