CanadaOlympic Gold Medallist Lisa Haley to headline 2015 Atlantic Coaching Conference, "Coaching with an Edge"
One of the nation’s top female coaches, Lisa Haley, will provide the keynote address at the third annual Atlantic Coaching Conference. Originally from Westville, NS, Lisa was the assistant coach of Canada’s National Women’s Hockey Team at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia where her team won a thrilling gold medal.
This year’s conference showcases interactive presentations from University of Windsor women’s basketball coach Chantal Vallée, leadership guru Dr. Angelo Caravaggio, University of New Brunswick sport psychologist Dr. David Scott, and National CanoeKayak mental performance coach Dr. Lori Ditherbide. Sport Physiotherapist Karen Decker, Canadian Sport Center Atlantic experts Angela Dufour, Mike Bawol and Jeremy Steinbach, and Province of Nova Scotia (Active Living Branch) sport consultants Mike Hudson and Michelle Aucoin round out the slate of presenters.
