A pre-conference session at the Recreation Connections Manitoba Conference
Tuesday, February 27, | 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$10 Per Person - Includes dinner

An invitation to ALL to join the conversation with experts on removing barriers, and developing inclusive and welcoming environment for women and girls to thrive through sport, recreation and physical activity.

Many organizations have identified gender equity as a priority, but struggle to know where to start or what to do next. This session will provide an opportunity to discuss current trends and best practices relating to activities to engage women and girls as participants and leaders in recreation, sport and beyond. Recreation Connections Manitoba is pleased to have Allison Sandmeyer-Graves, CEO of CAAWS, provide updates on new initiatives and resources available to support communities.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the conversation and understand our ability and responsibility to influence positive change in meeting the unique needs of women and girls in sport, recreation and physical activity.

Delivered in partnership with CAAWS, Recreation Connections Manitoba, Sport Manitoba, Manitoba Status of Women, Coaching Manitoba, Recreation and Regional Services, and Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
