Physical and Health Education Canada (PHE Canada) and The Physical Education Special Interest Council of Newfoundland and Labrador (PESIC NL) and  are now accepting presentation proposals for the 2017 National Conference - Rock Solid Foundations...Energizing Futures.

This conference theme seeks to bring to the forefront the importance of providing, through our educational systems, the foundational skills students need to build the necessary knowledge and experiences to lead healthy lives now and in the future. Rock Solid Foundations are one path towards energized futures. As such, presentations are expected to support educators, and ultimately students in developing solid foundational knowledge and skills across all learning domains with the view to support the development of energized futures, in its broadest sense.

We are inviting those who are interested in supporting the intent of this theme by sharing their ideas and expertise to please complete the application form. The national health and physical education conference will feature practical and theoretical presentations by professionals from across the country on a variety of topics.
