Individualized Heart Rate and Power-based Training Zones for Exercise Prescription: The '220 Minus Your Age' Alternative
What: Learn about the importance of individualized, aerobic exercise prescription and why predictive formulas are missing the mark. In this presentation we will be exploring the applied exercise physiology concepts behind VO2max, blood lactate threshold and energy systems testing and training.
This exciting event will feature informative lectures from experts in the field of Exercise Prescription, Cardiology, and Psychology, as well as a practical demonstration featuring Kinesic Sport Lab’s CompuTrainer power-based indoor cycling system.
Who: This event is of interest to coaches, personal trainers and physiotherapists working with high performance endurance athletes (i.e. runners, cyclists, triathletes, etc.) and healthcare professionals who want to incorporate exercise prescription into patient care.
