Fast and Female Champ Chat presented by Fuelling Women Champions in Calgary, AB

Calling all girls 8 to 18 years old... join us for a day of girl power! Fast and Female with the support of Girls Hockey Calgary, Hockey Alberta and Hockey Canada are kicking off the 2016-17 Female Hockey Season at the CWHL Calgary Inferno Home Opener. This event includes a complimentary ticket to the CWHL Calgary Inferno Home Opener played at the Stampede Corral Arena. After the game, participants will walk across the hall to meet your sport heroes; Calgary Inferno / Fast and Female Ambassadors at the Boyce Theatre for a physical literacy fitness circuit, yoga / dance party, inspirational chat and an autograph session.

Fast and Female Ambassadors:

•     Brianne Jenner - Calgary Inferno Captain, 2014 Olympic Gold Medalist

•     Delayne Brian - Calgary Inferno Goalie, 2016 Clarkson Cup Championship and Playoff MVP

•     Haley Irwin - Calgary Inferno Forward, 2x Olympic Medalist

•     Hayleigh Cudmore - Calgary Inferno Defence, 2010 IIHF World Women’s Under-18 Championship Gold Medalist

WHEN: Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 9:15am - 3:00pm

WHERE: Stampede Corral Arena and Boyce Theatre

WHO: Girls ages 8-18 years old

COST: $30 (Day of event registration is $35, if space is still available).

REGISTRATION INCLUDES:

CHAMP CHAT SCHEDULE:

•     8:45am - CWHL Pre-Game Warmup at the Stampede Coral Arena

•     9:15am - CWHL Calgary Inferno vs Brampton Thunder, Game Puck Drops

•     11:15am - CWHL Game Concludes

•     11:15am - Participant Check-in / Registration at the adjoining Boyce Theatre

•     12:00pm - Welcome to Fast and Female / Introduce Ambassadors / Group Photo

•     12:15pm - Physical Literacy Fitness Circuit

•     1:15pm - Milk Break presented by Canada's Dairy Farmers / Fuelling Women Champions

•     1:25pm - Inspirational Chat and Q&A with Fast and Female Ambassadors

•     2:00pm - Yoga / Dance Party

•     2:30pm - Autographs & Photos

•     3:00pm - Event Conclusion
