The Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine, RCPI & RCSI, hold its Annual Scientific Conference (ASC) every September.

This is the main event of the year for the Faculty, where Sport and Exercise Medicine Specialists, Doctors from all Specialties who have an interest in Sports, Exercise Scientists, Physiotherapists, Researchers and other Healthcare Professionals gather to exchange expert advice and share their knowledge of Sport and Exercise Medicine.

We have national and international speakers attending the conference every year, and we work from feedback received from delegates the previous year in order to plan the ASC for the following year.

On-line registration is available at the time the First Announcement is going out with the Call for Abstracts (between January & March). There is a reduced fee for early registration, so make sure to book a place early to benefit of the reduced registration fee.

We would like to thank our Sponsors who help us with the running of the conference every year, as well as the assistance we receive from RCSI Medical & Physiotherapy Students, who are always on call for roving mics duties, or helping out our Poster Judges!
