Event Date: May. 23, 2015 to May. 30, 2015

Hosted by the Canadian Sport Institute Pacific in partnership with the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence (PISE), the annual conference provides coaches with two different opportunities to become world-class leaders. The two streams of the ICS are the Sport Performance Coaching Certificate (SPCC) and the High Performance Coach Advance (HPCA).
Key Dates:
• Sport Performance Coaching Certificate (SPCC) - NCCP Competition-Development Modules | May 23-29
• High Performance Coach Advance (HPCA) - Theme: Strength & Conditioning | May 29-30
• NCCP Resistance Training and Performance Planning Facilitator Training | May 25-28
• Wine & Cheese Celebration of Coaching - May 29
The SPCC is directed at coaches working with a range of developmental athletes predominantly at the Train to Compete stage of LTAD. It features all Multi-Sport NCCP Competition-Development modules that provide a ‘next step’ for those looking to enhance their coaching expertise with a focus on building and supporting the developing athlete.
The HPCA is geared toward varsity, provincial, national, and Advanced Coaching Diploma (NCI) alumni coaches working with athletes in the Training to Train through to the Training to Win stages of LTAD. This is a great opportunity to share new information and the way forward in Canadian sport plus the conferences offers a chance to network.
