The annual International Sports Science Symposium 2015 will be held on 16-17 January 2015 in Hong Kong. The 2015 event is co-organised by the Hong Kong Sports Institute, Department of Orthopaedics & Traumatology of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Association of Sports Medicine and Sports Science and Asian Federation of Sports Medicine.

The theme of the symposium is “Sports injury prevention and management”. The purpose of the symposium is to transmit knowledge and exchange views on the current trends and issues in sports injury prevention, and foster closer collaboration among professionals in sports medicine, sports science, and sports coaching.

The two day event will include keynote presentations and workshops on below areas:

• Injury prevention and treatment
• Drugs in sport
• Recommendations for training and nutrition

The target audience of this symposium includes practitioners, researchers and students in the field of sports medicine and sports science, coaches, physical education teachers, athletes, and sports administrators.
