At our 2018 Sessions, we asked what sport, physical activity, recreation, and healthy living looks like in your community. Attendees shared their experiences and expertise, and after a 10-month engagement process involving hundreds of individuals and organizations throughout the province, a new Provincial Strategy for Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity and Recreation is ready to be launched.
In our 2019 Sessions, we will introduce our new ‘road map’ for Indigenous sport, physical activity and recreation and engage in focused discussions on how we can continue to work together to design and deliver new and exciting opportunities in Indigenous communities throughout BC.
We invite you to come and lend your voice at one of our six regional sessions throughout BC.
The Regional Engagement Meetings will be held 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
** The evening prior to each Regional Engagement Session, I·SPARC will host the 2019 Regional Premier's Awards for Indigenous Youth Excellence in Sport. All registered participants of the Regional Engagement Sessions are invited to attend the Premier's Awards Ceremony and Dinner (at no charge) to help us recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the youth recipients of the 2019 Regional Awards.
