Senior National Team athlete Jennifer Casson set a lightweight 6000m ergometer world record (19-29 age group) this past month with a time of 21:43.9. She also currently holds the lightweight 2000m ergometer world record (19-29 age group).
 

Marisha Roman has been appointed to the RCA Board of Directors for a one-year term as Safe Sport Director. As Safe Sport Director, her mandate is to oversee the development of RCA's Safe Sport strategy, policies and procedures.

Aubrey Oldham (Hamilton, ON) and Charles Hauss (Lachine, QC) competed in the men's solo event at the 2019 World Rowing Coastal Championships in Hong Kong this November.

CAN Fund is a non-profit that supports athletes who compete for Canada. Rowing is the most funded summer sport in CAN Fund history and, to date, 29 rowers striving for the Tokyo Olympics are CAN Fund recipients. Donations made to CAN Fund in the lead up to Tokyo will have double the impact, as a $3 million matching on every donation was recently announced.

Dave Thompson, John Wetzstein, and Phil Marshall have been named Coaching Association of Canada 2019 Petro-Canada Coaching Excellence Award recipients! These awards recognize coaches whose athletes have medalled at World Championships.
