Team Nova Scotia set to race at the Ontario Junior International

Swimming Canada - Team Nova Scotia is set to race at the Ontario Junior International at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre December 13-15.

Three swimmers from Nova Scotia will race against over 370 of the best 18 and under swimmers from across Canada, United States, Japan and Great Britain. 

Team Nova Scotia members include:

Liam Ferguson, Halifax Trojan Aquatic Club (HTAC)

Sophie Rooney (HTAC)

Marion Synishin (HTAC)

These swimmers will be led by Coach Mark McGrann. 

McGrann believes that the Ontario Junior International is an excellent opportunity to expose our top Provincial swimmers to an elite international racing environment.  This Swim Nova Scotia initiative is a tremendous investment in developing our Next Gen athletes and an excellent platform for 2020 National Competitions.

Sophie, Marion and Liam are proud to represent Swim Nova Scotia and compete in a field of 2020 Tokyo Olympic prospects, while paving the way for future swimmers in the Province.

Prelims begin at 9:00am on Friday, and 9:30am on Saturday/Sunday; finals begin daily at 6:00pm.
