INTRODUCING THE ORDER OF SPORT

On behalf of everyone at Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who attended our unveiling of the Order of Sport Award – it was truly an unforgettable event. The Order of Sport is an iconic award that recognizes athletes who are champions of their sport and champions for their community and is the highest sporting honour in Canada. These individuals go above and beyond to create moments of greatness in sport and to give back.

Speaking of greatness, whether it’s an overtime goal or landing the perfect jump, sports have a way of inspiring a nation, and Canadians never take these moments for granted. Now, take a second to think about the impact an iconic Canadian athlete or team has had on your life, or your community – and make a meaningful donation in recognition of the spirit of sport. MLSE will match every dollar contributed through these donations up to $25,000. Funds raised will be used towards our education programs including in-school presentations, Virtual Visits, our In-House Programs and our Beyond the Win – Hall of Famers on Tour assembly-style presentations, to name a few. All of these programs recognize athletes who have reached the pinnacle of their careers and also give back to their communities. Through your donations, we can continue to show youth that performance is more than strength, speed and agility – it’s integrity, empathy and optimism – and that great moments in sports are made up of both athletics and giving back.

DONATE TO KEEP THE SPIRIT OF SPORT ALIVE
Canada's Sports Hall of Fame is a registered charity established in 1955. Our mission is to build Canada through sport and to give all Canadians a way to embrace the country's physically competitive spirit as their own. We rely on your support to recognize and share the valuable stories and life lessons of our country's greatest sport heroes with the next generation. Please consider making a tax receiptable donation to ensure that we can continue delivering these important education programs to students across Canada.
