Jennifer Birch-Jones

As a senior consultant & trainer with the Intersol Group since 2011, Jennifer specializes in facilitated & integrated approaches to planning, performance measurement, evaluation & learning, with clients in both the federal government and not-for-profit sectors. She has worked with clients in the Canadian sport community to develop performance indicators, implement measurement & reporting strategies, and to design & facilitate the development of strategic & annual plans.

Jennifer has many years of experience at all levels of Canadian sport both as an athlete and in her volunteer and professional work. She played a lead role in creating the first positive space in sport for a Canadian Team at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. In 2010, Jennifer was on the Organizing Committee for the first ever Pride House at the 2010 Olympic and Paralympics in Vancouver and Whistler. Jennifer is currently the volunteer Program Lead for CAAWS Addressing LGBTphobia in sport and has successfully delivered Leading the Way workshops to sport leaders throughout Canada.
